International Day of Dance Bakewell: Saturday 25th June 2022
After two years of being away this colourful, musical and creative event will be filling the streets of Bakewell on the 25th June 2022.
Over 20 dance groups and entertainers will be performing a variety of styles from Rock and Roll to Ballroom dancing. There’s also a few Morris dancing troups, all coming together to make a thrilling atmosphere throughout the streets of Bakewell town.
Bakewell Carnival Week: Saturday 25th June to Sunday 3rd July 2022
The Bakewell Carnival is a huge draw for locals and visitors alike and the International Day of Dance will feature on the first day of the Bakewell Carnival Week itself. Carnival week this year runs between 25th June and 3rd July 2022.
There is a variety of fun events for all the family across the week culminating in the Carnival itself on 2nd July 2022. Expect the many pubs, cafes and restaurants to be packed, all with a jovial and party atmosphere.
Events across the week include a treasure hunt on Sunday 26th, Carnival Darts on the 27th, Carnival Football on the 29th.
And don’t forget, Bakewell has plenty of interesting shops both independent and high street brands, and are sure to please everybody’s tastes.
