28th October – 2nd November
Crich Tramway Village is a good day out on any day, but during the Autumn something truly special happens. During the autumn half term or to be more precise the week of Halloween (Monday 28th October – Saturday 2nd November), Crich Tramway Village holds it’s annual ‘Starlight Event’.
The tram and the tramway village are lit up in a variety colours and because the week coincides with Halloween there are some spooky goings on as well, in particular if you decide to walk back through the woods you might find a few hair raising antics going on. Also there’s Nevil’s cave, spooky even when it’s not Halloween.
The Trams, which are a true blast from the past, run all night long, but there are also other things to do such as visiting the tramway museum, where you will be able to walk into the past and explore the trams that are on display. There’s also some model trams and an old pipe organ on display in the main hall.
