The 2025 Christmas theme will be announced later in the year, but visitors can expect the same magical atmosphere that makes Chatsworth one of the country’s favourite festive destinations.
What to Expect
- Explore over twenty rooms in the house, each beautifully decorated to reflect the year’s theme.
- Wander through the garden and follow an immersive light and sound trail, featuring illuminated sculptures, seasonal music, and striking views of the house.
- Enjoy an evening visit to see the animated projection on the south front of Chatsworth House.
- Visit the farmyard and woodland adventure playground, where families can meet the animals, take part in festive craft activities, and enjoy seasonal decorations throughout the area.
Christmas Market
- The Chatsworth Christmas Market runs from 8 November to 14 December 2025.
- Over one hundred stalls will offer handmade gifts, decorations, food, and drink.
- Live music and entertainment add to the festive atmosphere.
- Entry to the market is free, although parking charges apply.
- Visitors with a Christmas ticket for the house or garden can access the market during its opening dates.
Tickets and Planning Your Visit
- All tickets should be booked in advance to guarantee entry.
- A Christmas in the Garden ticket includes access to the garden light trail, the farmyard, and the adventure playground.
- A Christmas at Chatsworth ticket includes full access to the house, garden, and farmyard.
- The last entry to the garden is one hour before closing, and the final projection usually finishes around twenty minutes before the garden closes.
