Set in part of a 600 acre working farm, the Park provides a great day out with varied activities for all the family. Animals to see include wallabies, meerkats, micro-pigs’ lamas, goats, turkeys, peacocks, cattle and sheep to name a few. The pet rabbits are always a favourite with the children, along with the chance to help feed the young lambs (seasonal). Have a free bet on fun ferret and sheep races, enjoy a wallaby encounter, help to feed the meerkats and have an interactive experience with a barn owl or snake.

Two Dales Riding School and Trekking Centre is part of Matlock Farm Park and offers qualified riding lessons as well as pony trekking. Booking for this is essential. For the little ones, short pony rides are available at weekends and during school holidays with no need to book.
